Red Desk

I was at the Hartvigtsen annual yard sale extravaganza and I picked up this lovely desk in need of some TLC for only $10! As soon as I saw it I thought, it needs to be red! So that's what I did and I am very pleased with the outcome!

The Rocking Horse

My cousin had this old rocking horse sitting around and it was screaming "Fix Me!!" So, I took some sandpaper, white paint and some stain and abracadabra it's done!

The Dresser

As many of you know, I love to make things. I love to create cool stuff. Well, I looked at my old dresser,  and thought it looked a little plain, so I fancied it up a bit.

Here is the before:

I love the black, but doesn't it look like it needs something? So I went to my favorite craft store, Roberts, bought some scrapbook paper, a sponge brush and some Modge Podge and went to town. I spent a total of $10 and it looks completely different! I still need to add the hardware, but I am loving how it looks!! Here is the after:

I finally got all the hardware on it! Here is the finished piece!

My New Blog

So, I decided to start this blog for all of my projects that are not photo/graphic design related. I have so many that I have rolling around in my head and now is the time that I am going to start spitting them out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
